Oatlands Heritage and Bullock Festival 2025.

St Peters Oatlands opened our doors for the festival for the first time this year.

We thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Oatlands Heritage and Bullock Festival on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August.

During the two days we welcomed well over a hundred people ; visitors to Oatlands, including a lady holidaying from India and members of our local Community.

In addition to viewing the large display of needlework ranging from cushions to kneelers, our visitors showed keen interest in the stained glass windows, memorial plaques and memorabilia which honors so many of the families founding this district.

J oining with our guests over coffee , tea and cakes we had much interest in the history of our church and in turn the role of the church in our community today.
This was a very good opportunity for Rev.Philip and Narelle to meet with so many people, so early after his appointment to Midlands Anglican Parish.

The weekend activity of course included our normal Sunday service at 11.30am and the whole weekend was such a success that we look forward to creating another experience for visitors and locals alike at next years’ Festival.
